2026 Diesel Classic

The Diesel Classic, proudly hosted by IUEC Local 96, is an annual hockey tournament uniting competition, community and union pride. Tournament net proceeds support the Diesels Army Sport Wish Fund, a fund created in honour of late union brother Ryan “Diesel” Forbes, delivering meaningful sport experiences, hope, and support to families facing cancer, while also supporting cancer research.

The 1st Annual 2026 Diesel Classic was held April 11-12, 2026 at the Sensplex (OTTAWA WEST), raising over $12,000 in donations. Congrats to the winning team IUEC Local 96 "A", and thank you to all who supported and participated this incredible event. See you in 2027!
